UNDERSTANDING YOUR TREATMENT

What is NDIS Physiotherapy?

NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) Physiotherapy is specialized physical rehabilitation designed for individuals with disabilities. It focuses on functional capacity—helping participants manage physical impairments, build muscle strength, improve balance, and safely use assistive equipment. Our physiotherapists work directly with participants, support workers, and families to create goal-oriented plans that align perfectly with the participant’s approved NDIS funding.

Goal-oriented physical rehabilitation Plans are designed around functional capacity, physical goals, and approved NDIS funding.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Do you offer home visits for NDIS participants?
Yes. We understand that traveling to a clinic can be difficult. We offer mobile physiotherapy services, visiting participants in their homes, schools, or supported independent living (SIL) facilities within our service radius.
Can you write a report for my NDIS plan review?
Absolutely. Our physiotherapists are highly experienced in writing detailed, evidence-based End of Plan reports to help you secure the necessary funding for your next NDIS plan.
How is the billing handled?
If you are NDIA-managed, we claim directly through the NDIS portal. If you are Plan-Managed, we send the invoices directly to your Plan Manager. For Self-Managed participants, we provide a receipt for you to claim back via the portal.
Do you charge travel fees for NDIS home visits?
Yes, travel fees apply for mobile physiotherapy visits in accordance with the standard NDIS pricing arrangements and price limits. This will be clearly outlined and agreed upon in your Service Agreement.
Can physiotherapy help if my disability is permanent?
Absolutely. While we may not be "curing" the condition, ongoing physiotherapy is essential for preventing further physical decline, managing chronic pain, and maximizing your daily independence.
